End Mentrual Woes with Simple Dietary Changes and Aromatherapy

Menstrual pain, as the name implies, is caused by a natural monthly process of the body in most women of childbearing age.  Though this is a natural process of the body, menstrual pain and cramping many times accompanies a woman's menstrual cycle.  The areas that feel this pain tend to be the lower abdomen and/or lower back, though the thighs can also feel the effects.  Other effects may include headaches, dizziness, constipation, and nausea.  While not all women feel pain related to their  menstrual cycle, it is considered a natural part of how the body works.  Therefore, most women are liable to feel the effects of it at one point or another.

Whatever Happened to my Sex Drive?

Has your sex drive dissappeared?  Did it get up and leave you wondering where did my desire go?

It happened to me years ago.  I’m now forty something, with two elementary school aged children and my husband of over twenty years.  Somewhere along the way I lost all my desirous feelings, very rarely ever wanting to have anything to do with sex.  The love and commitment was there all along, but I felt that something was wrong with me to not have the sexual urges and engagement of my early twenties.  I wanted to be desirous of the love of my life and be able to fulfill his needs.  I even had doctors just brush it off as “it’s all in your head and your mindset” or “it’s just part of getting older”.  We tried to be spontaneous here and there, date nights, etc., but it seemed all for naught.

Aroma Therapy Began Our Alternative Holistic Health Journey

I began dabbling in aromatherapy in ’05 while looking for safe bug repellent alternatives for the kids. I ended up completing my Certification of Aromatherapy in ’07 thru ACHS online with the main interest of improving our lives and using the therapeutic properties of essential oils in everyday life.

I have found essential oils to be truly amazing in their therapeutic qualities and fun and easy to blend. Through sharing this knowledge with friends, family, and coworkers, I was asked to make blends for a multitude of issues (massage oils and inhalation blends) that people offered me money to make for them. This spread word-of-mouth like wildfire at work because the blends were very helpful in managing the many health issues. Everyone seemed to like it.
